Materials

Duverah uses semi-precious or precious stones in each design unless stated otherwise in the product description.

Metals used in Duverah creations include, 925 sterling silver and 18k gold vermeil over sterling silver.

Care Instructions

Sterling Silver:

  • Clean your silver jewellery with a mild soap and water solution, allowing the water to bead up, then pat dry with a soft polishing cloth. For more stubborn dirt, use a cleaner designed for silver use. Do not rub silver with anything other than a polishing cloth. Tissue paper or paper towels can cause scratches because of the fibres in these products.

  • When not being worn always store your silver in a safe, cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. We recommend carefully storing your jewellery in the Duverah box provided, this will ensure your jewels do not oxidise, tarnish or tangle.

  • Store pieces individually so that they do not knock together and scratch.

  • We recommend removing your jewellery when you shower and swim (chlorinated or sea water) as moisture may damage your silver pieces.

  • Avoid spraying perfume and applying creams directly on your jewellery.

  • We also recommend removing your jewellery while exercising. While strong, our jewellery is still fine and delicate and will break if pulled during vigorous activities.

14k & 18k Gold Vermeil over Sterling Silver (925):

  • Clean your gold plated or vermeil jewellery using mild soap and water along with a soft polishing cloth. Do not rub gold plated or vermeil pieces with anything other than a polishing cloth. Tissue paper or paper towels can cause scratches because of the fibres in these products.
